Taiwan Global Lead Design Center at Stanley Black and Decker is looking for someone who likes the challenge of operationalizing processes and improving efficiency. They will streamline the workflow of global packaging by acting as the liaison between Product Managers, Engineering, and the Packaging teams to ensure the project on-time delivery. By facilitating program management, they will increase accuracy and alignment of New Product Development and Derivative/Product Modification schedules for all global cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Derivative Mod/Product Modification Programs
    • Review incoming NPD/Non-NPD Programs for accuracy
    • Create schedule framework, align project deliverables and route to cross-functional teams
    • Follow-up with Program Managers and Manufacturing Engineers for information and/or scheduling issues
  • Drive Cross-functional Communication:
  • Lead weekly status meetings with Program Managers and Plant Contacts to maintain production schedules
  • Anticipate and address when issues arise throughout the process
  • Maintain continuous communication to all parties involved in each Program for capacity planning and on time delivery of packaging deliverables
  • Workfront Administration:
    • Utilize our project management system in order to coordinate projects and capture metrics

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and 5+ years professional experience in a project management, or operations role. In-house knowledge of SBD product and processes preferred.
  • Ability to lead and delegate. Experience managing other people’s workload/assignments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and effectively meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, process focused, desire for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the desire to learn and grow.
  • Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Project Management Software (Workfront).
  • Experience in PLM System (Windchill)
