Your expertise in strategic brand development will create compelling Value Propositions that drive measurable business impact, such as increased customer loyalty, improved market share, and revenue growth.
You will craft powerful Portfolio and Brand strategies for our Value-add Solutions, ensuring their success through clear KPIs like market penetration, customer engagement, and competitive differentiation. Working closely with Marketing Operations Managers and key departments such as Species Teams, Global Marketing, and Pricing, you will integrate product strategies, innovation projects, and lifecycle management to reinforce Nutreco’s market leadership.
Your influence will be demonstrated through successful product launches, measured by factors like sales performance, customer adoption rates, and speed to market. Collaborating with Technical Sales Managers, you will bring a long-term strategic vision while they focus on short-term implementation. With support from a dedicated Sustainability Manager who is part of your team, you will ensure sustainability is embedded in every portfolio decision, positioning Nutreco as the leader in sustainable animal nutrition.
As a member of the ECA Strategic Marketing Management Team, you will also be directly involved in shaping the broader commercial strategy for our species and work closely together with the other Marketing functions.

About The Role:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compelling Value Propositions that drive customer engagement, market share growth, and long-term business impact.
- Create and execute Portfolio and brand strategies, ensuring alignment with market needs and measuring success through key performance indicators.
- Initiate and Lead successful product launches, working cross-functionally to optimize time-to-market, adoption rates, and revenue generation.
- Analyze market trends and competitor insights to refine portfolio strategies, ensuring Nutreco remains a leader in sustainable animal nutrition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate sustainability, innovation, and data-driven decision-making into the portfolio strategy.
Skills and Expertise
For this position, we are looking for an experienced Marketer who can make the right connection between our global organization and the ECA markets. You are a marketing professional, ideally with affinity for the assigned species.
Qualifications:
- You have at least a Bachelor/Master’s degree;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role;
- Affinity with the agricultural sector;
- Management experience in a complex, global organization;
- Your English is fluent (both written and verbal);
- You live in Europe and will be willing to travel to Amersfoort on a regular base or other locations in ECA if needed.
