Job Description
Job Title: Portfolio CPQ Admin
Reports to: Director of Portfolio
Role Type: Administrator
Location: Flexible (Remote/Hybrid/Office)
Hours of work: 8:30am-5pm Monday- Friday
Summary and purpose of the Job:
The Portfolio CPQ Admin will own the day-to-day administration of the Wavenet CPQ quote and contracting system.
The Portfolio CPQ Admin will work closely with the Sales teams and field questions, queries and system issues that may arise. They will also need to train, advise, troubleshoot and fix CPQ quote and contract issues where needed.
They will co-ordinate various tasks across portfolio and product management to facilitate the efficient, consistent and automated input of CPQ portfolio moves, additions and changes.
The role holder will collaborate with the Product Management and Portfolio teams across Wavenet (including Tower heads and Product Managers) to maintain and manage in-life CPQ products and solutions ensuring they are correct, up to date and working as expected. This will also include feeding in to the consolidation projects and assisting with the withdrawal of products and solutions out of the CPQ.
They will ultimately be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the CPQ system.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Be a CPQ and Portfolio structure subject matter expert.
- Expert knowledge of the CPQ system including how it is constructed, both from a sales perspective e.g. playbooks, quote build, DealRoom, customer interaction and sign-off, and from an admin perspective e.g. playbook build, product database, approval workflows and user permissions, contracts and DealRoom configuration.
- Day-to-day (BAU) administration of the system.
- Be the 1st line support for the Sales Teams for queries, issues, requests and system bugs.
- Carry out moves, additions and changes as required to products, services and solutions already in the CPQ system.
- Own reported system bugs and issues, and follow to resolution, working with both Sales Team members and CPQ support to resolve.
- Supporting sales queries and opportunities with CPQ technical and commercial expertise.
- Suggest and feed in to Feature and Service improvements to continually improve efficiency and automation of the CPQ system.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Consistent and logical approach to their work.
- Highly motivated with good attention to detail.
- Keen to develop new skills.
- Able to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with departments such as sales, service, operations and engineering.
- An organised, analytical and methodical approach to ensure effective product/system introduction; yet creative and intuitive to support the development of uniqueness in our products.
- Able to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly and efficiently to provide rapid product CPQ introduction when required.
- Strong interest in technology transformation and the process of system development, efficiency and automation.
- Some background knowledge of basic coding languages is preferable.
- Awareness of Wavenet’s products and portfolio is also advantageous.
