Triages incoming emergency calls from the state of Wisconsin public and health care providers. Provides caller with assessment, evaluation, disposition, and education and prevention information regarding human toxic exposures using medically approved guidelines in computer software systems.
Minimum Requirements

RN or pharmacist with previous clinical or Poison Center experience.

Current state of Wisconsin RN licensure, pharmacy licensure or must obtain licensure with 14 days of hire.

Prefer three years of clinical experience in acute, ambulatory care or a pediatric setting or previous experience in an AAPCC certified Poison Center.

Successful completion of exam for Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI) after meeting the requirements put forth by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Incumbent must successfully complete exam within 3 attempts.
This position is a variety of day and PM shifts totaling 24 hours/week including every other weekend. This role also requires two holidays. If offered a position, a set cyclical schedule would be determined. All weekends, holidays, and extra shifts may be worked remotely as this is a hybrid position. Orientation will be in-person at the Milwaukee Main Campus and can be a variety of shifts.
Must be able to drive to the Corporate Center at our Milwaukee Main Campus for emergency situations and training as required.
For external candidates, this role is eligible for a $2500 bonus paid out after successful completion of your introductory period.
