We are looking for a PMO Manager to join our strategic program to deliver the separation of our two Business Areas Fiskars and VITA into separate legal entities. The selected person will play an important role in this vitally important program, which is considered a dress rehearsal for our future ERP transformation.
Join us in a exciting role where you will co-drive transformation within Fiskars Group, a global home of design-driven brands for indoor and outdoor living. The location of this position could be either Finland, Espoo Campus or Denmark Glostrup office.
- Lead and operate the Program Management Office (PMO) in major transformation programs to support the program manager and project managers. Coordinate governance activities, including milestone and activity tracking, status and steering group meetings, reporting, and risk reviews.
- Ensure that all projects within given transformation programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by implementing and monitoring an effective program governance structure.
- Build and operate program and project reporting: proactively plan, orchestrate, and report on the end-to-end delivery of transformation programs and projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Ensure project reporting to program and project steering committees, program manager and other relevant stakeholders is timely and of high quality.
- Ensure value tracking by developing and maintaining business cases and managing value targets. Support in managing project budgets and expense tracking
- Risk & issue management: Develop and maintain the program risk and issue recording and tracking. Ensures risk mitigation and actions performed accordingly through the projects.
- Resource, Schedule & Dependency management ensuring consistency of deliverables and concepts across workstreams, mitigates and facilitates potential conflicts, and highlights and tracks dependencies
- Facilitate regular program reviews with senior management, providing transparent updates on delivery status, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Analyze project metrics, milestones, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and provide leadership with insights on program progress.
- Support in monthly performance reporting activities for the entire Fiskars Group project portfolio
- Contribute to continuous improvement of program and project management practices, including identification of areas for improvement and implementation of changes to improve performance
WHO YOU ARE?
Experience:

Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems science, Industrial Engineering or similar

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience managing PMO activities for complex project and programs involving business and IT transformation, either in a consultancy or in-house consulting role. Experience from PMO roles in ERP, especially SAP transformations is preferred.

Project management skills: Excellent project management skills necessary to implement the project according to agreed objectives, scope, timeline and budget. Understanding of different project management methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall and hybrid approaches).

Experienced in creating project plans of varying granularity and able to assess the feasibility of vendor-created plans. Experienced managing and following up on project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.

Leadership skills: Ability to prioritize own and project team’s work under high pressure and changing priorities

Communication skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills. You are able to manage and distill complex information into clear and concise messages and create clear and convincing content to present your case. You interact at ease with people from diverse background, and have the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. Able to build relationships and navigate through a complex matrix organization.

Analytical and problem solving skills: you are effective at identifying and analyzing problems and finding creative solutions in a collaborative manner

Experience in project management tools (Atlassian JIRA, MS Powerpoint and Excel) and methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).

Professional working proficiency in English, which is the daily working language in Fiskars Group. Interviews for this position are also held at least partly in English.
