Job Description:
The Platform Engineering team manages the platform layer in our global cloud environments that serve data and analytics use cases and application development across Mars. The Platform Engineer role will be responsible for the delivery of new technologies and automation of services. They will play a crucial role in the research and roll out of new solutions to meet the multi-dimensional needs of our customers, enabling our businesses to pursue aggressive digital strategies.
What are we looking for?

University degree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

1+ years of experience with cloud engineering and/or software development
-
Understanding of building and deploying services in the cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP
-
Proficiency in at least one scripting language, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, etc.

Advantage if experienced with Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes

Exposure in working in a collaborative team environment

Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
What will be your key responsibilities?

Design, implement & support platform capabilities using Azure, AWS & GCP

Working with technical development team on scope and delivery of self-service platform templates

Become a subject matter expert in new technologies introduced to the platform

Leverage product management/agile frameworks to flesh out business requirements

Enhance CI/CD pipelines & automate infrastructure deployment

Implement monitoring, alerting & observability solutions

Maintain technical documentation & runbooks
