SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating planning, purchase of materials required to manufacture and scheduling activities to support one or more product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for production schedules and estimating capacity requirements for completion firm and forecasted orders. Keep System update and database.
- Responsible for paperwork generation to support assigned product lines. This includes traveler issuing and closing, connecting jobs on the floor to orders in the system, and other activities typically performed by the production control function.
- Responsible for estimating and planning raw and/or any other material requirements used to support assigned product lines. Coordinates purchasing activities of those items.
- Analyzes, recommends and implements processes and procedures to provide accurate results on the inventory control of raw and/or any other materials.
- Participates and leads discussion with costumers around delivery schedules.
- Recommends and implement measures to improve production control methods.
- Revises purchasing or planning documentation as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Follow up production until reach ship date required checking no to over or under ship.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- At least 4 to 6 years in related positions
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or Similar Field.
- Knowledge in Kinaxis, APICS Certification and New Products/Transfers will be considered a plus.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics
- Experience in the Medical Industry is required
- Advanced level of English is required

- Ability to work in a self-managed work team environment.
- Ability to work differing work schedules. Good written and oral English communication skills required.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Leadership: Supervise/manage/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of personnel.
Supervision:
General Direction: receive very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent of others; operate within division or department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.
MANUAL DEXTERITY: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
