Tarkett is looking for a PIC Manager to join our talented team in Dalton. The Senior Production Planning Manager will provide direction to the Production Planning department by managing the overall production and inventory plan and ensuring production scheduling and raw materials management to minimize cost while maximizing timely order fulfillment.
What this role will be responsible for:
- Manage Production Planning Department in a multi-location environment.
- Manage the monthly SIOP process to ensure effective management of inventory and asset utilization.
- Develop Planners and Schedulers.
- Build and maintain relationships with Production Managers and Customer Service.
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
Experience & Education Desired:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field of study.
- Experience with Made to Order manufacturing of Commercial Carpet.
- Experience in applying statistical concepts to optimize efficiency and service.
- Experience with Planning and Production Control relevant to the Carpet industry.
- Proficiency with computers including emphasis on Excel and SQL.
