Essential Duties:
This position reports to the Security Manager and provides support in all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security-supported activities.
Perform a full range of personnel security responsibilities and tasks in support of multiple Government Customers (or Programs).
Be responsible for in-processing/out-processing personnel, defensive briefings, and performing indoctrinations.
Serving as a subject matter expert for numerous customer service needs.
Perform all aspects of the Collateral and SCI Personnel Security Program to include: nomination interviews, validation of Collateral and SCI access requirements, submission of investigative requests, conduct Collateral and SCI security briefings; obtain signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Disclosure Statement (NDS)
Administer personnel related modules in security system SIMS, and perform other related personnel security actions.
Emphasize unauthorized disclosure awareness, management, and reporting during indoctrination and termination briefings and day-to-day security program execution.
Maintain the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to accurately reflect all personnel under their security cognizance. Provide guidance and assistance for processing Collateral and SCI position and eligibility requests.
Process all derogatory information concerning Collateral and SCI indoctrinated individuals under their security cognizance and oversee the establishment of Security Information Files.
Required Skills:
Excellent skills in customer service.
Ability to plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SIMS, DISS, and SWFT.
Ability to obtain and maintain additional security accesses and accounts.
Prior industrial security experience, preferably in a multiple customer environment.
Experience with Personnel Security in a SCI or SAP environment. Experience with NISS, NCAISS.
Completion of DSS CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities. Completion of CDSE course PS001.18, PS113.16, and PS010.16.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience with Personnel Security or High School diploma/GED and 3+ years of experience with Personnel Security.
Special Requirements:
US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret clearance based on an investigation current within the last four years. Polygraph current within 5 years is desired.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
