The AJC is seeking a results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and optimize growth marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. This role requires a versatile marketer with a general understanding of mobile and affiliate marketing and the ability to leverage these and other strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience managing performance marketing campaigns and a strong grasp of marketing technology to enhance scalability and effectiveness.
Responsibilities in this role:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop strategy and implement performance marketing campaigns to achieve subscriber acquisition and revenue goals.


  • Campaign Execution : Manage end-to-end execution of campaigns across multiple channels, including mobile, affiliate, email, and paid media.


  • Optimization & Testing : Test and optimize campaigns through A/B testing for ad copy, UX design, landing pages, and targeting to improve CTR, CVR, ROAS, and other KPIs.


  • Tracking & Attribution: Ensure accurate tracking and attribution using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Amplitude, or similar platforms. Address and troubleshoot discrepancies through collaboration with stakeholders.


  • Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough campaign performance analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Present findings to stakeholders.


  • Affiliate Program Development: Lead the creation and execution of affiliate program, driving growth across multiple channels (email, ads, influencers). Identify, recruit, and build long-term relationships with affiliates, ensuring their success and program performance.


  • Mobile Campaign Oversight: Support mobile marketing efforts by implementing strategies to increase app downloads, subscriptions, and campaign performance.


  • MarTech Integration: Utilize marketing technology platforms, like AppsFlyer, back end analytics, to improve campaign effectiveness and ensure seamless integration of tracking and reporting tools.


  • Market Research and Trend Spotting: Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across product, design, programming, and analytics to align marketing efforts with broader company goals.


Qualifications:

  • Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.


  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Amplitude, or similar platforms is preferred.


  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of marketing technology platforms and tracking tools, including device IDs, pixels, and conversion APIs.


  • Optimization & Testing: Proven experience with A/B testing methodologies to refine and optimize campaigns.


  • Strategic Thinking: Data-driven approach with the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term strategy.


  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.


  • Self-Starter: A proactive and independent worker who thrives in fast-paced environments.


  • Budget Management: Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and optimize spend for ROI.


  • Preferred Skills:


  • Expertise with affiliate marketing programs, including building relationships with affiliates and influencers.


  • Knowledge of mobile marketing strategies, such as increasing app downloads and improving user acquisition funnels.


  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable) and CRM tools.


  • Experience in subscription-based or media industries is a plus.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
