Core Responsibilities:
- Ingredion Performance System (IPS): Serve as an organizational transformation and change agent for the channel IPS implementation, while assuring the sustainability of management system tools such as routine dashboards, OEE measurement, and other routine indicators. Support creation of operational excellence standards by providing input in accordance with the local requirements.
- Site Leadership Support: Partner with site leadership on IPS and specific topics across the IPS methodology, such as IPS deployment, OEE, SMED, process value stream mapping, etc. Participate in regional and local Manufacturing Excellence and IPS team meetings to identify new practices for the plant's success. Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to support plant management in the identification of key success drivers and execution of improvement objectives.
- Continuous Improvement/KPI Tracking: Tracking of regional KPIs and dashboards to ensure sustainable continuous improvement (CI) at site level. Support completion of root cause analysis (RCA) and action planning for critical initiatives in Safety, Quality, Service, Cost Reduction, etc., supporting the gap analysis methodology to recommend process improvements to drive target achievement and organizational effectiveness. Facilitate Kaizen events, ideation workshops, RCA studies, and other CI activities that support plant performance enhancement. Suggest improvements in the Management System according to experience during implementation.
- IPS Training/Coaching: Deliver Management System training that includes concepts, tools, and deliverables to achieve awareness and facilitate IPS adoption and cultural change. Coach and mentor plant teams and individuals to ensure the successful completion of IPS implementation, continuous improvement activities, and troubleshooting, as applicable.
- Digital Transformation: Support of the digital transformation in the manufacturing area by applying IPS standards and visualization.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing engineering or alternatively long-term practical experience with exposure in relevant requirements
- Experience in Process/Industrial Engineering
- Experience in implementation of operational excellence programs to stabilize plant performance (routines, standardization definition)
- Hands on experience of continuous improvement, ideally in the implementation of such systems.
- Lean Six Sigma ( desirably Green Belt or higher) and Lean Manufacturing Practices certified, and statistical process control
- Strong knowledge of digital systems, including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), integrated action tracking, and KPI reporting.
- Power BI and SQL experience, electronic paperwork, or other digital process improvement solutions.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German
- Experience collaborating with global and interdisciplinary teams
