What you’ll do:
- Review, prepare the initial draft of customer and partner-facing software, SaaS and services-related orders, SOWs, agreements, and amendments based on established guidelines.
- Enforce company contracting guidelines, methodology and standard operating procedures.
- Enforce company contracting guidelines, methodology and standard operating procedures.
- Review non-standard terms and involve necessary teams to obtain approval.
- Escalate to attorneys to support drafting and obtaining approvals for customer agreements.
- Communicate frequently with cross functional teams including SMEs, Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Finance, Support, Product and Operations to ensure contract drafts result in optimal terms.
- Review executed customer agreements to ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracy.
- Support administrative tasks and reporting related to revenue contracts.
- Learn and apply knowledge of industry-related issues, software licensing, SaaS, professional services, and revenue recognition.
- Support continuous process improvement company wide.
- Perform other responsibilities and special projects in support of the legal team's goals and initiatives.
- Minimize customer re-signature and amendments through validation and confirmation of final customer agreements prior to full execution.
- Proactively update and validate key order information for accuracy, compliance, consistency, and completeness.
- Assist commercial teams (Sales, Support, Professional Services, and Cloud) in structuring customer transactions.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in revenue deal support or contract administration/management, with at least 1 year at a SaaS company
- Knowledge of contract law, regulations, policies, and basic revenue recognition principles.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and negotiating SaaS contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally and build strong working relationships with individuals in other departments.
- Fluent in English and German, both oral and written
- Experience working with US based technology companies]
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Experience with Salesforce and CPQ is a plus.
- Experience as a Paralegal is a plus.
