Position Overview:

S&P Global Inc. seeks a strategic and detail-oriented People Leader Development Program Manager for our manager development program (i.e., “Create”). This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive development programs for managers across the organization. As a key member of the People Leader Products team, you will partner with stakeholders across the organization to define the people leader skills at all levels and maturity of management, build training materials and facilitate the delivery of high-quality workshops, and assess the program's effectiveness and utilization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build People Leader Development Strategy

    • Build the vision and drive the strategic agenda of the enterprise-wide People Leader Development program.

    • Collaborate with People Partners, Talent Partners, Development Leads and business leaders to identify key competencies and skills required for effective people management, using data-driven insights from AI analytics.

    • Develop key performance indicators and success metrics to measure the program’s success.

    • Partner with the VIBE team to develop engagement survey questions that align with the capabilities of the program.

  • Program Design and Development

    • Create and implement cutting-edge development programs tailored to the needs of managers, integrating AI tools for personalized learning pathways.

    • Leverage various learning modalities (e.g., workshops, videos, podcasts, AI tools, etc.) to build engaging training materials for different types of learners.

    • Research and stay informed of the latest trends in manager capabilities in order to stay aligned with the expectations in our dynamic environment, both internally and externally.

    • Identify opportunities for program and/or process improvement and work with the Development Lead to determine feasibility of implementation.

    • Collaborate with Talent Partners and Total Rewards on performance management process skills and awareness-building campaigns.

  • AI Integration in Training Delivery

    • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching programs that promote leadership development.

    • Utilize various instructional techniques to engage global participants and enhance learning experiences.

    • Utilize AI-driven platforms to deliver training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs that enhance leadership development.

    • Implement AI tools for real-time feedback, assessments, and adaptive learning experiences to engage participants effectively.

  • Data Analysis and Program Evaluation:

    • Develop metrics and assessment tools powered by AI to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of development programs.

    • Analyze participant data and feedback using AI analytics to continuously improve program offerings and learning outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with People Partners, Development Leads, Talent Partners to align development programs with organizational goals, leveraging AI insights for decision-making.

    • Communicate program objectives and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior leadership and participants, using data visualizations generated by AI tools.

  • Coaching and Mentorship:

    • Ensure People Leaders are aware of coaching and mentoring resources that are available to them across the broader People Team.

    • Leverage the People Leader Teams Community and AI-powered peer learning groups to establish networking resources and ways for our managers to connect with each other in support of their personal growth.

    • Build AI-enabled “Coachbots” to help solve common manager challenges.

  • Budget Management:

    • Develop proposals for resources needed to support people leader development.

    • Identify and recommend external resources, as needed.

    • Manage the procurement process for any external contracts.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) are a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development program management (or an adjacent program management domain).

  • Proven experience in program design, facilitation, and evaluation, with a strong understanding of AI applications in learning.

  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, AI tools, and various training methodologies.

  • Learning and Development Analytics: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

  • High-Level PowerPoint Skills: Proficiency in creating visually appealing and impactful presentations that enhance learning and engagement.

  • Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to lead and facilitate training sessions, ensuring effective communication and participation from all attendees.

  • Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate and address logistical challenges proactively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical Thinking: Analyzes data and situations to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
