About The Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing for our global team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-growing organization, leveraging your expertise to manage payroll operations across multiple countries. With a focus on compliance, efficiency, and data accuracy, you’ll help maintain seamless payroll processes while driving improvements to support our expanding workforce.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process monthly and semi-monthly full-cycle payroll for employees across the USA, Canada, Philippines, Greece, Ukraine, and other countries.
- Review and verify timesheets, work hours, and payroll-related data for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure timely updates to employee records and payroll adjustments.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports for management review and audits.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Support payroll system upgrades, testing, and implementation of process improvements.
- Handle tax filing requirements in the United States and Canada with precision.
- Handle workers comp policy adjustments each month based on current headcount.
- Utilize tools like Rippling, Rise, Deel, Bill.com, and ADP to streamline payroll processes and generate reports.
- Conduct complex data reconciliation, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing global payroll, preferably in a multi-country setup.
- Hands-on experience with payroll platforms such as Rippling, Bill.com, Netsuite, Deel, and ADP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of tax filing processes in the United States and Canada.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage complex data.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, with a proactive approach to compliance.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and time zones.
- Experience with report generation and analytics for payroll audits and management reviews.
- Ability to work 5 days a week in our Bengaluru office with a fully in-person team.
