As a Payroll Lead, you’ll shape our global payroll strategy while ensuring seamless payments, benefits, and compliance across jurisdictions. Responsibilities

Oversee payroll operations for 1,000+ employees across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage payroll payments, benefits, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions with precision.
Leverage advanced Rippling expertise to optimize payroll processes and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payroll-related challenges and ensure no legal or regulatory issues arise.
Drive strategic improvements to payroll operations as xAI continues to grow globally.

Qualifications

2-4 years of functional payroll experience; depth of expertise prioritized over total years.
Advanced proficiency in Rippling (required).
Strong knowledge of employment regulations and cross-jurisdictional payroll compliance.
Payroll certification (e.g., CPP or equivalent) is a plus.
Proven experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees across regions.
Previous leadership of payroll at a tech company is highly preferred.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
