Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture Scalapay’s network of business and technology partners in the travel & experience industry.
- Partner up with key actors in the Italian ecosystem: our target partners range from marketing agencies, system integrators, software houses, payment platforms to trade associations, freelancers, booking engines and many more.
- Support the Scalapay sales team by generating new business opportunities at scale and by increasing retention of our existing merchant base
- Work closely with the Scalapay marketing team to define and execute the Scalapay partner marketing strategy of your territory
- Identify new integration opportunities and work closely with the Scalapay Tech team to onboard new partner integrations and maintain and optimise the existing ones
- Meet regularly your partners face-to-face via market visit, fairs, events and much more: we’re looking for a true Scalapay ambassador and evangelist!
- Support your team and the overall strategy to continue positioning Scalapay as the pioneer in Buy Now, Pay Later for Travel
- Keep up to date with everything cool that's happening in the industry; think of yourself as the expert for innovation in the travel industry
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in Partnerships Sales, Account Management roles. If you already have experience in the travel industry, it’s a great plus!
- Proven ability to create enduring relationships with customers and/or partners
- Excellent communication and business skills; we’re looking for a proactive, organised and data-driven mindset;
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent multiple projects and execute on tight deadlines;
- Proficiency in Italian and English is a must; Spanish is a strong plus.
- If you already speak MEDDIC, it’s a great plus.

Scalapay is an innovative payment method which allows a customer to defer payments through 3 or 4 interest-free installments. The buy now pay later service is available in over 7.000 physical stores and in the e-stores of more than 5.000 brands. The cost of the service is totally free for the customer and is financed by a commission applied to retailers who are immediately paid for their product. Scalapays’ service has seen a 48% increase in the average order value, an increase in cart conversion, and a decrease in its abandonment rate.
