Collaborating with cross-functional global and regional teams, you implement brand strategy that is aligned with our brand vision to drive sustainable growth and to deliver business objectives. You also support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives, including new product development and platform opportunities
How you will contribute
You will work with others to execute the brand strategy for designated brands, develop product and packaging initiatives, implement pricing strategies, and plan and execute integrated marketing communication and media plans. You will also provide recommendations for integrated commercial plans and provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing plans to ensure they meet revenue, profit targets, sharing objectives and monitoring performance. Based on your strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you ill help develop integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

Savoury Biscuits is a 60M$+ business with iconic brands like Tuc and Ritz. This platform is and will be one of the growth engine for the company with focus and investments.
As Tuc & Ritz Brand Manager, you will translate market & consumer information into brand strategies & brand action plans, which should drive growth for brands and the country. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution in the Italian market of all plans for the brands of your responsibility and act as key liaison between other cross-functional teams to ensure effective business delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Equity localization:

  • Localize Tuc and Ritz equity with short & long-term brand strategy which reflect brand positioning & clear brand purpose relevant for the Italian country, in order to secure sustainable brand growth


Strategic planning:

  • Develop short & long-term strategy for the Brands in line with Company's & Country's vision
  • Use consumer insights which will then be transformed into brand planning
  • Develop short & long-term strategy considering competition & defining position within the market


Annual Plan development:

  • Lead & develop 360° activation programs (ATL/BTL)
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to secure execution excellence of programs
  • Develop Annual Media plans for the brands
  • Work with central team and creative agencies as "one team" to develop brand plans & big activations


Innovation / Portfolio:

  • Contribute to create the innovation plan for the brand in country
  • Lead portfolio management & initiate relevant action plans where applicable


On-going:

  • Have full P&L responsibility, build-up of annual budgets & monthly forecasts to fuel meaningful plans & profitability
  • Manage Marketing Budget developing strong Marketing plans with high ROI
  • Conduct market & market share analysis on an ongoing basis with deep understanding of performance drivers & proposed action plans accordingly
  • Closely co-operate with internal stakeholders (Category Planning, Sales, Finance, PCM, etc.) & external partners (Creative & Media Agencies)
  • Monitor business against specific KPIs (e.g. sell-in, sell-out, market shares, Equity tracking, etc.)

The right person for the job:

  • University degree and MBA or Master's degree
  • A minimum of 6/7 years brand management experience, FMCG preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking , problem solving capabilities & agility in a dynamic environment
  • Analytic & creative thinking skills
  • Strong & broad commercial acumen
  • Ability to influence, cross functional and cross cultural teams in an engaging way
  • Drive for results, high level of autonomy, team player & agility to perform in a dynamic environment
  • Proven project management & presentation skills, fluent in English and Italian
