Position Summary
Harness is seeking an experienced Partner Marketing Manager who will develop and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with our partner ecosystem including cloud providers, technology alliances, and global system integrators (GSIs)s. This role requires someone with a keen understanding of partnership dynamics and the ability to create closely aligned marketing initiatives across various channels, including digital and in-person events, co-branded collateral, and account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns.
From messaging and campaign strategy to partner enablement and demand generation, you’ll be at the forefront of driving Harness’ go-to-market through our expanding partner network.
About the role
- Plan and develop campaigns with partners, partner management, and regional sales teams to engage the partner community with digital content and in-person events.
- Assemble partner marketing toolkits including, campaigns in a box, content and design assets, product and training content, and other sales support collateral. (typically re-purposing existing content)
- Rely on collaboration with partners to plan and organize joint events, like webinars, seminars, conferences, and trade shows, to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Team with internal groups, such as partner management, sales, product marketing, and customer success, to ensure a unified approach to partner marketing efforts.
- Navigate the fiscal oversight of the budget allocated for partner marketing initiatives, ensuring the efficient use of resources and the maximization of return on investment.
- Execute a Partner Marketing plan in coordination with the Partner Management team.
- Report on the performance of partner marketing activities, optimizing strategies based on data insights.
About you
- 5-7 years of partner marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or DevOps. (field marketing experience is a plus);
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, event planning, and ABM strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Event planning and management knowledge with a proven track record of successfully executing multifaceted events (both small and large scale);
- Ability to build strong working relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and drive buy-in from sales, product, and marketing leadership;
- Self-starter with high autonomy, strong project management skills, and the ability to adapt to change;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret marketing performance data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Experience in organizing and executing successful events.
- Ideally hybrid from our San Francisco office but we will also consider candidates who are remote from within the West Coast (U.S).

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $170,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. The compensation package for this position also includes a commission/variable component, which is based on performance, plus equity, and benefits.
