Role and Scope of Position:
Works within a multi-organizational team environment to ensure the accuracy, ease of use and appropriate support of Eversource’s Human Resource systems. Provide outstanding service to HR customers. Process HR transactions with quality, timeliness and efficiency ensuring the accuracy of all transactions and employee data in the HR systems; troubleshoots and problem solves while encouraging self-service. Accountable for working with HRIS to develop reports and analytics that meet business and functional needs. Participate in the research, analysis design, implementation, maintenance, administration and operation of the Workday, HR Portal, Workforce and other systems. Work closely with the HR, Payroll and IT Business areas and other information technology professionals to translate broad business objectives into meaningful specifications and collaborate on the development of the solution.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains the HRIS systems to ensure the data integrity and accuracy of all transactions and data in the systems.
- Provides accurate, consistent, and timely responses to HR process, system, and data requests. Resolves tickets and issues in a timely manner
- Collaborates with the HR Organization to process mass system changes such as reorganizations, job changes, union agreements, etc.
- Assesses current system and utilization; identify, recommend, and implement system and process improvements such as configuration changes, notifications, macros, and reports to maximize value and efficiency of the systems.
- Collaborates with HRIS team on application upgrades, functional changes, training and streamlining of operational processes
- Assists in the execution of core HR processes such as Open Enrollment, Compensation Cycle, General Contract Increases, etc.
- Develops and provides training, guides, and documentation on applications. Communicates system application changes and provides user training and hands-on support.
- Assists in data analytics and creates and analyzes complex reports
- Gather business requirements and develop functional specifications for reports and/or configuration requests
- Ensures system compliance with data security, SOX and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HR system providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs various tasks as assigned, which includes project-based work for the COE as well as assigned line(s) of business
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of system development methodologies, application development and support and information system technology.
- Requires analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc), report writing tools and Human Resources Information Systems (preferably Workday).
- General Knowledge of Human Resources business functions preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years business, information systems and/or technical experience

Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires sitting, standing, use of computers and general movement throughout the office area. Job can require driving and traveling to company locations/vendors offices to attend meetings and off-site to professional conferences/meetings.
