Job Description
Oracle Technical analyst is responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to follow CMMI Level3. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Meet with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules. Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Financials R12/R11 and Oracle databases
- Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions)
- Ability to provide technical support for Oracle Federal Financial modules that include Fed Admin (FV), AP, AR, GL and PO
- Monitoring and support of Production data interfaces between the core Oracle Federal Financials application and external federal systems pertaining to travel, contracts and procurement.
- Experience with EDI Interfaces, using X12 standards
- Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development
- Experience with shell/Perl scripting
- Knowledge of Control M
- Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required
- Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor
- Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines
- Provide operational support in Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financial Modules on a daily basis
- Troubleshoot and resolve the technical issues reported by users
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
