Your role in the Team

What you’ll do

• Manage the Instrument Issuance and Life Cycle processes of Turbo Warrants
• Support Turbo dealing desk with operational processes relating to instrument lifecycle
• Manage and Monitor post trade processes relating to executed turbo warrant trades with brokers and other external parties

What you’ll need for this role

• Be main point of contact with all internal teams and external vendors that support Turbo Issuance Lifecycle
  • Work with numbering agency on ISIN purchase and allocation
  • Work with Issuing and Paying agent to ensure Instruments are correctly created and terminated in CSD
  • Work with external vendor to ensure all regulatory documents are created and published correctly and in good time
  • Monitor instruments daily to ensure that Knock-Out events are processed correctly
  • Manage untraded and unpopular instruments by delisting
  • Manage the issuance process to replace Knocked-Out instruments, ensuring a good coverage of available leverage for clients on all Underlying (UL) assets
  • Ongoing analysis of the instrument universe offering to ensure the best products are available
• Work with the dealing desk to manage the daily instrument lifecycle events
  • Daily monitoring of Corporate Action events impacting UL assets and manage the transformation or termination of the instruments based on the event
  • Daily monitoring of Dividend payments on UL assets and adjusting Strike/Knock-Out Levels accordingly to allow uninterrupted trading
  • Monthly monitoring and management of UL rolling forward future contracts for commodity-based UL to ensure dealing time are pricing against the correct future and Knock-out is also being monitored versus the correct UL future to ensure uninterrupted trading
  • Assist dealing with Hedging Trade requirements, i.e., checking daily funding rates are correct and checking for short selling bans
• Post trade responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal settlement teams with Global Custodian and external brokers settlement teams to resolve any failed trade issues
  • Align with Issuing and Paying agent to resolve any instrument creation issues in the CSD that are impacting settlement
  • Be the first point of contact for internal settlement teams and coordinate the resolution of any post trade issues with Global Custodian, Issuing and Paying Agent, Central Securities Depository, and Numbering Agency when required
  • Reconcile monthly de-minimis amounts for knocked-out client positions and align with finance teams for manual payment to brokers
