We’re BrainRocket — an international software development and digital solutions company driven by 1,300 talented professionals across Cyprus, Malta, and Portugal.
Here, everything moves at rocket speed: driving innovation, pioneering projects, and fast-tracking careers.
Together, we turn ideas into action—let’s get started!

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of a procurement function from the ground up. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing procurement activities across various categories and delivering measurable value to the organization. You must be comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity, rapid change, uncertainty of process, and highly variable projects across numerous diverse categories. Experience of working in a high-growth, start-up like environment would also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Strategy Development:
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts to maximize value for the organization.
    • Help to develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  2. Supplier Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service and optimal pricing.
    • In conjunction with business stakeholders, evaluate supplier performance and take a leading role in supplier development initiatives across spend categories within your remit.
    • Oversee the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers as needed.
  3. Category Management:
    • Manage procurement activities across various categories, including but not limited to Construction, Facilities Management, PR and Events, Travel, HR, and Technology.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide procurement expertise to meet objectives.
  4. Policy and Process Development:
    • Contribute to the creation of procurement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
    • Ensure alignment with company-wide goals and regulatory requirements.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide regular reports to Procurement leadership on procurement performance and cost savings achieved.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments, which may include Finance, Operations, HR, and IT, to support their procurement needs.
    • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects requiring procurement input.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally a minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement or a related commercial field. Your ability to think strategically and commercially is, however, more important than your direct experience within procurement as a discipline.
  • Ideally, demonstrated success in managing end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Experience in one or more of the following categories is highly desirable:
    • Construction
    • Facilities Management
    • PR and Events
    • Travel
    • HR
    • Technology
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, including RFx management, supplier selection, key commercial aspects of contracting, and spend analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfort with uncertainty, ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete or imperfect information.
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance considerations related to procurement.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to shape and develop an entire procurement function from the ground up.
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Highly competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Professional growth and career development opportunities.
