JOB DESCRIPTION
• Operate District Cooling System (DCS) plants and Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) plants in accordance with operation regime
• Assist supervisor to update operation procedures
• Maintain event log for plant operations
• Perform basic troubleshooting for the operation of equipment
• Report/record defects and alarms during operation, raise Service Requests if required
• Assist the supervisor to monitor and carry out basic troubleshooting at customer’s heat exchanger station
• Assist the supervisor in daily, weekly and monthly report submissions for monitoring and financial purposes
• Perform goods receipt and service entry functions in SAP
• Man the overall security system via the card access system and CCTV
• Understand safety requirements for Machine Guarding, LOTO, Permit to Work, Work at Height, Hot work, hazardous area classification and etc, comply with company's health and safety work procedures
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the Head of department from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• At least a NITEC certificate in Electrical / Mechanical / Air-conditioning / Control & Instrumentation with minimum two years of relevant experience
• Preferably with hands-on experience with relevant equipment in facility management or process plants
• Basic knowledge in air-conditioning equipment functionality
• Able to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, P&IDs and basic mechanical or parts drawings and manufacturer manuals
• Experience in operating computerised BMS is an advantage, however operation training will be provided
• Strong team-player with good communication skills
• Able to perform shift duty (12-hour rotating shift)
• Willing to cover duty in different locations when required
• Basic awareness in Health, Safety and Environment
