The Project Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and other company aspirations while building and promoting the culture of continuous improvement (CI). The Project Manager will coordinate, manage, and drive CI activities and initiatives by implementing, translating, and recommending changes to improve the performance of systems and people, particularly in field operations for all Agiliti portfolios.

The Project Manager will work in collaboration with all stakeholders, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. This position will lead assigned initiatives from kickoff through successful implementation.  They will partner with leaders and teams to create and drive program objectives, facilitate best practices, and develop project scope to ensure cost, financial, schedule and performance goals are met.

The Project Manager reports to the Director Operations Excellence and will closely coordinate work with field operations leaders.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Kaizen Events and other DMAIC Projects to implement process changes, including formal education to field staff on project management and fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma such as 6S, VWP, Playbooks, elimination/reduction of waste and focus on value added activities.
  • Develop and drive standards amongst these Projects to ensure service activities meet standards for quality, cost, financial and delivery.
  • Design Service Center layouts that meet safety and quality requirements and optimize processes/material flow (travel reduction, process balancing and optimizing inventory utilization).
  • Monitor and maintain a deep understanding of variables impacting key performance metrics, contributing input and support to team in achieving goals.
  • Serve as Liaison between project teams and Leadership to understand and communicate project needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Lead through strategic change management and provide coaching and application.
  • Identify and escalate issues/risks facing project teams and work with cross functional management teams to develop solutions to improve current emergent processes and manage roadblocks.
  • Ensure projects planned and executed utilizing a Project Management approach:
    • Project Team roles and responsibilities identified
    • Best Practices of tools and resources utilized consistently
    • Risk and Issue identification, escalation
    • Deployment planning, management, and transition to live operation
    • Operational support plans

Required Experience

  • 4-year college degree in business or other related field preferred
  • 5+ years of health care experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with Lean Six-Sigma methodologies
  • Experience in creating and leading collaborative teams through complex Projects
  • Demonstrated financial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Travel up to 50%

  • Strategic Perspective – Keep overall objectives and strategies present and not sidetracked by roadblocks or purposeless detail.
  • Applying standards – Effective in the application of relevant industry and process standards in all tasks undertaken.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including an understanding of medical equipment manufacturer needs, product lines, operational and sales goals, objectives, with a focus on Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Visio and other project management tools.

Pay Range for All Remote Locations:

$73,960.89-$192,277.07

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown. The actual pay offered may vary depending on several factors including geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors.
