Are you an Operations Manager or Director with extensive experience in supply chain and vendor management?

Do you have a burning ambition to build and grow last mile solutions within Japan’s number 1 Parcel Locker provider, outside of residential lockers.

If you are self-motivated, and bring energy and enthusiasm for change and improving ways of working, as well as strong customer focus, then we might have the ideal role for you.

Your role in our future

Your main tasks will be to communicate, negotiate and coordinate with our Installation team, QLS, subcontractors, location partners and carriers’ new installation (including removal of the locker at the location).

You will also maintain close communication with the Operations Team relating to the coordination of activities for installation, maintenance, outsourced services.

As well as the Management of Services, Product Deliveries & new projects (solutions enhancement, new features implementations, new releases), you will also express a logical approach to issues, providing solution in a professional manner.

You will drive operational excellence to optimize the operation with KPIs, exploring operation efficiency to reduce the cost, and management of the local support activities.

You will also ensure Quality Management (Hardware, Software and IT), including KPI Management / Monitoring.

Your profile

  • You can demonstrate proven experience in leadership/management within both Japanese and multicultural/international environments and you are able to move the organization from a "start-up" mode to a more process-oriented structure, as well as motivate teams in a challenging and demanding environment
  • You have proven experience in contributing to new business model definition/implementation, along with a good understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
  • As well as your high level of organization and problem-solving ability, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you are comfortable both in talking with your team and external customers, you’re always ready and available to tackle issues in a hands on manner.
  • You can demonstrate a deep understanding of managing 3rd party subcontractors and you are familiar with new technologies combining software, IT, mechanical and electronic components
  • You are fluent in Japanese, with a communicative level of English
