The Operations Coordinator assists with daily operations, manages inventory, coordinates with departments, and supports the operational team in administrative tasks and policy enforcement.

Key Deliverables:

  • Assisting the team for daily operation activities.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as ERP/365 operation on daily basis.
  • Facilitate operation for day to day requirement such as raw material, system update, raise transfer order to stores.
  • Coordinating with supporting department to ensure the smooth daily operations of  business.
  • Arranging and assisting all work need for the shop floor for day to day work requirement.
  • Managing communication with Sohar Aluminum for delivery reports and daily reports.
  • Supporting the operation team for enforcement of company policies and standards.
  • Monitoring Rod Mill inventory and issuing T.O to ensure that enough raw material available for production.
  • Tracking daily operations and reporting and resolving issues.
  • Maintaining company database.
  • Planning and organizing training events for shop floor employees.
  • Preparing and maintaining operations documents and reports.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Well known of company IMS Policy.
  • Support the Injaz program.
  • Doing any task given by Senior Supervisor or Superintendent.
  • To ensure all the duties done on a daily basis irrespective of holiday. 
  • Management/Team leader/Direct line report can assign you for any task as deemed fit in process operation area in order to enhance the operating skills and reserve the right to transfer you to other departments when needed to develop multi-tasking.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/High School.
  • Minimum 6 years of production or related experience.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong computer proficiency.  Word, Excel.
  • Experience with inventory management database, or similar software is beneficial.
  • Must be detail and solution oriented.
  • Previous experience as an operations supervisor or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience implementing operational processes.
  • Knowledge of operational principles and policies.
  • Organizational skills and attention in detail.
  • Team leadership skill.
  • Has desire to learn and develop.
  • Must have good knowledge in English Language to speak and write.

Experience: 

  • 6 years’ experience in the manufacturing company
