Operations Coordinator / Customer Analyst
Summary
The purpose of the Operations Coordinator and Customer Analyst role is to connect the needs of our customers to operational execution. Provides administrative support to the Operations team to allow them to focus more of their time and energy in the most effective away to maximize customer success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect customer feedback through expedite and other requests, organize and communicate priorities to the operations team through the backlog review process
- Delink, update and relink orders related to expedites
- Manage promise dates for backlog order lines to update changes and enter missing dates provided by backlog team to assure customer visibility
- Aggregate monthly customer pull-in requests, distribute for approval, collect responses and update requests dates in Oracle
- Enter Item Master, BOM and Routings for new customer specific p/n’s with input from engineering
- Manage major customer specific processes including request date coordination when specific logistics requirements need to be met
- Generate quotes from drawings working from catalog with input from engineering
- Manage specialty OEM price lists for major accounts to assure accurate quoting
- Monitor customer cases in SFDC (SalesForce)
- Request drawing creation for motorized product line
- Participate in weekly cross functional commercial discussions with Product Line Manager
- Become proficient with product configurators to support quoting process
- Manage shipping/freight instructions for customer orders to assure proper method and coordinate actions with shipping department
- Cross-functional interaction to ensure the smooth flow of information between departments.
- Observe and analyze processes to identify and resolve inefficiencies or process issues.
- Support site events such as physical inventory, large company events, and customer visits.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Exceptional customer communication and coordination with operations delights customers
- Technical order entry issues are addressed in a timely manner to avoid delaying shipments
- Shipping logistics are coordinated seamlessly (partnership with shipping team)
- Monthly revenue is maximized through collaborative request date management
- Oracle item and order line issues are addressed to facilitate on time delivery
- Customers receive timely and accurate re-promise dates
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ERP experience, Oracle or SAP preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer service and/or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use technology tools, eg: PC, database reporting, and MS Excel-Word-Outlook-PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Able to multi-task and keep projects running on time.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
Physical Demand and Work Environment
Physical Demands: May involve sitting, standing, lifting, typing, visual observation, and interacting with others.
Work Environment: Typical office environment with visits to the production floor.
