As an Operations Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of coordinating multiple projects within the operations landscape. This role combines strategic business acumen with data analytics proficiency, requiring a solid understanding of business and technical aspects. Reporting to the COO you will play a crucial role in optimising operations and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Operations Analytics:
- Translate business needs into actionable, systems-oriented solutions, including the development of Power BI dashboards
- Guide operations teams based on analytical insights
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the broader operations organization and management.
- Leverage data to create progress reports and identify potential roadblocks, escalating to management as needed
- Gather and organize feedback from the operations team for the development of new dashboards, aiming to streamline tasks and enhance performance tracking
Project Management:
- Coordinate and oversee various projects within the operations department, from modeling and planning to implementation.
- Ensure alignment with company goals and timely delivery of projects
Reporting:
- Analyze and evaluate operations performance, developing automated methods for information sharing across teams and geographical locations
Forecasting & Planning:
- Develop operations forecasting models in coordination with the COO
- Monitor performance against targets and forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math, Data Analysis, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Operations, business analytics, consulting, or finance. Preferably experience working for a fast-paced organization
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative fundamentals and the ability to adapt work to different platforms and tools.
- Experience with either Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Strong knowledge of SQL is a must
- Knowledge of Python and R would be a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Craftsmanship: Willingness to go the extra mile to get things done, with the ability to find different ways to reach the desired outcome
- Ownership: Ability to operate independently and bring projects to fruition regardless of circumstances. Proactive in finding solutions and seeking guidance when needed
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adjustability in a rapidly growing and transforming operations organization
- Communication: Expert communicator, adept at explaining processes with clarity through both spoken and written communication
