The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, an opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and energetic person to join our busy Truckstops Service Department as our Operations Assistant, at our brand new, purpose build site in Waterloo Business Park, Christchurch.
In this position, you’ll be focused on picking up and delivering trucks to our customers and sub-contractors, site management for safe vehicle movements and vehicle grooming. You may also provide support in the general daily operations of the service department as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- hold a Class 5 license with experience driving a range of trucks
- have excellent verbal communication skills for face-to-face and phone conversations
- understand what fabulous customer service should be and deliver that service
- have a can-do attitude with the ability to jump in and help the wider team as needed
- have a positive attitude, a team mentality, and great sense of humour
