The Supply Chain Operational Excellence Specialist supports the North American Supply Chain organization leading projects that drive day-to-day improvements in processes or increased profitability within all channels. This role is responsible for identifying and leading initiatives to streamline activities aimed towards solving key productivity and cost challenges within the organization.
What You Need to Know:
• Continually communicate updates on project statuses and issues to Supply Chain leadership via regular communications and status reports
• Manage initiative timelines to meet established project milestones
• Coordinate schedules, stakeholders, resources, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure the team meets agreed upon requirements and expectations
• Act as the single point of contact for each project on schedule, cost and scope – while properly managing risk
• Coordinate any and all inter-team activities and project dependencies to ensure on-time project deliverables
• Conduct process improvement initiatives with process owners which includes: documenting current processes, performing supporting data analysis, facilitating the design of the process change and supporting the implementation
• Regularly communicate with department leadership, sponsors and stakeholders
• Assist with creating and maintaining measurement tool(s) to monitor performance and improvements in key metrics for projects supported
• Assist with the business case development and identification of project costs and benefits to calculate return on investment
• Assemble and present assessment results and recommendations to department and company leadership as the project lead
• Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analysis/Science
• 3-5+ years of related experience in continuous improvement
• 2+ years of related experience utilizing an ERP system (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, AS400, SAP, Logility, JDE, etc.)
• Lean Six Sigma certification or other process improvement methodologies
• Advanced level of MS office software applications
• Understanding of data management techniques and methods
• Knowledge of change management principles
• Project management certification or training a plus
• Excellent presentation skills in a clear and concise manner
