Job Description:
Summary:
Provides escalation point for supplier delivery issues and is liaison between Global Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities:

First point of escalation within Procurement from Global Supply Chain, or other cross functional organizations as concerns arise due to supplier delivery performance
-
Participate in supplier business review meetings to review and improve supplier delivery performance.

Provides delivery/expediting support to the plant/site during supplier issues to maintain supply continuity at lowest cost
-
Engages internal and external resources, as required, to establish recovery plans when emerging or actual supply chain disruptions occur.

Partners with various teams to identify key process, system, or information gaps and evaluates potential solutions for process improvement.

Recommend solutions based upon data analysis to increase business efficiency and/or improve business processes.

Provide regular status updates on delivery resolution to various organizational stakeholders, and levels of leadership

Analyze various data sets to aid root causal and resolution: (Supplier Schedules, Supplier Delivery, Expedited Costs, Plant Consumption, ETC)

Maintains a physical presence in the workplace.

Knowledge of scheduling and inventory control systems and processes preferred

Capable of utilizing databases and obtaining information or queries in complex ERP environment

Understanding of contracts and T&C's

Demonstrated strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.

Knowledge of scheduling, inventory control systems, and manufacturing processes
Education and Experience:

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-
0 to 5 years' experience in Procurement, and/or Global Supply Chain
-
Prior experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred
