OneStream Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OneStream Administrator to manage and optimize our OneStream platform, ensuring seamless integration between our financial systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and a solid understanding of business accounting / finance to support our finance and accounting teams.

Responsibilities:

One Stream Platform Administration

• Administer and maintain the OneStream platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security.

• Configure, deploy, and optimize financial models, workflows, and data integration processes within OneStream.

• Manage user access, security roles, and permissions to ensure compliance with internal controls.

System Integration & Data Management

• Work closely with finance and IT teams to integrate OneStream with company’s ERP system.

• Oversee data import/export and troubleshooting of integration issues.

• Develop and maintain cube views, dashboards, and reporting for management.

Accounting and Financial Reporting & Analysis Support

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure financial data is accurate and aligns with business needs.

• Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.

• Provide technical support for the preparation of financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.

Business Accounting Knowledge

• Leverage accounting principles and financial reporting standards to configure OneStream applications.

• Ensure the platform supports key accounting functionalities such as multi-currency handling, intercompany eliminations, and consolidations.

• Provide insights and technical assistance to optimize accounting workflows and ensure accuracy in financial processes.

User Training & Support

• Train users on how to effectively use the OneStream system for their financial reporting and analysis needs.

• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues and offering solutions to users.

• Maintain documentation, guidelines, and knowledge sharing for system users.

System Improvements & Upgrades

• Regularly assess OneStream functionality to recommend and implement system improvements.

• Manage platform upgrades and patches, ensuring that enhancements align with business needs.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with OneStream administration and configuration.

• Solid understanding of data integration, system architecture, and cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with scripting and custom workflows (e.g., Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, etc.).

• Experience with data integration tools or other related financial data management solutions.

• Understanding of accounting principles, financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

• Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot system and data-related issues.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the OneStream platform.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and business teams.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate on solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
