We are seeking an experienced HC Generalist to join our Team in Paris.
The Opportunity:
The Human Capital Generalist manages the day-to-day HC operations. He/She ensures that the administration of the policies, procedures and programs of the office are compliant with local legislation and aligned with global & regional policies. He/She manages employee relations independently and advises the manager of any possible actions.
This position is a client facing role and you will be working directly with the stakeholders on HC matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation of employee policies and continuous improvment of policies and processes
- Provide advice and guidance to employees on HC and Payroll related matters, handle complex individual requests - being specifically the Single Point of Contact for Nera (employees and HC corporate)
- Manage relationship with MMC HR Shared Services for payroll and assist with OW and MMC Finance for payroll accounting, Sox and Deloitte on payroll matters, Partner Compensation
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
- Provide support in preparation of Works Councils meetings
- Handle the health and pension benefits
- Handle non-complex exits, prepare the administrative papers
- Manage employee relations cases independently, liaising with Legal and Global Mobility in complex cases
- Assist in termination and exits of senior employees
- Conducts investigative interviews
- Provide support in preparation of Works Councils meetings, Health Committee and mandatory annual negotiation
- Manage the vendor and contractor process liaising with Talent Management, Partners and Independent Contractors
- Assist in HC strategic projects and Manage HR projects in relationship with the HCM
- Reporting
Experience Required:
- Experience working in Generalist HC position for 5 years
- Experience with Works Council negotiations
- Management consultancy and/or a professional services background a+
Technical Skills:
- Fluent in French and English
- Solid knowledge of local labour law and regulations
- Good understanding of French payroll (SAP GlobalView a+)
- Good Powerpoint, Word, Outlook and Excel skills
- Knowledge of Workday a +
