Salary: £23,809.50 per annum plus company benefits

Location: Newport, South Wales NP10 8UH

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch break, working between core hours of 8am to 5pm

Work model: Fully onsite

Purpose of role

The role of the Office Services Assistant is a key position in providing services to our client and reporting to the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with all functions of Mail services, sorting, scanning, distributing around the office within SLA's.
  • Dealing with all incoming Special, Signed for, tracked, Hand deliveries and courier deliveries.
  • Dealing with all outgoing post, collecting from around the office, booking on systems.
  • Deal with day to day queries from the inbox and liaise with the client.
  • General maintenance of copiers
  • Assist with other tasks within the Office Services team.

Personal Attributes

  • Previous reception/telephonist/customer service experience
  • Well presented, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer focus
  • IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems
