The role

Glia is in a period of rapid growth, and we are looking for passionate and driven people’s person to join our Talent & People team. You will support the People Ops team by making sure everything runs smoothly in the Tallinn office, you’ll help to organize internal events and take part in various other initiatives and projects to keep Glianeers happy and excited to work here. This is a perfect opportunity if you would like to kick-start your career in People Operations.

What you'll do

1. Office:

  • Work closely with our Global People Ops Team to oversee the functioning of the Tallinn office and create an exceptional work environment (i.e keep our kitchens stocked, inventory management, regular maintenance of the office, improvements, etc) 
  • Liaise with facility management and service providers (i.e cleaning, security service, etc)
  • Be the first point of contact for our people regarding office-related topics and external partners for establishing office procedures
  • Be our work environment specialist in the Tallinn office

2. Event management:

  • Collaborate with your global team (New York, Tallinn, and Tartu) in organizing company-wide events 
  • Support our employer branding activities (i.e making stories for Instagram, ordering company merch, our contact in Tallinn for visitors etc)
  • Send and/or take care of other ad-hoc events, gifts, and swag

3. People topics:

  • Coordinating work anniversaries
  • Supporting onboarding with several initiatives (i.e. by setting up desks for new hires and office tours on the first day, first-day orientation call etc)
  • Make sure Glianeers visit the occupational health doctor and be the first point of contact from Glia’s side for Meliva (former Qvalitas)
  • Organize accommodation for Glianeers  who visit our Tallinn or Tartu office and/or travel from the EU to Estonia
  • Be the main point of contact with any relocation case within the company 


Requirements

  • Excellent communication in English and Estonian, written and verbal
  • Willingness to learn and grow with us
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • True people’s person with a positive, problem-solving attitude and a creative mind
  • Previous experience in office and/or event management or similar roles is a plus
