About the Role
At Harman, we owe our success to people and processes. The office assistant provides vital support for both, so we’re currently seeking someone for this role. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who has good communication skills and attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers. The ability to multitask, manage schedules, and meet deadlines is essential for the position.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Managing filing systems.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
- Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
- Ensure optimal use of office equipment, supplies, and inventories through preventive maintenance.
- Provide ad hoc support to staff members and departments, including organization of on-site and off-site team events.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
- Facility suppliers’ management- cleaning service, heating, maintenance.
Office Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or associate’s degree.
- Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word and MS PowerPoint) and aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Fluent in Italian and English proficiency.
