Commercial Excellence Manager - Capabilities
Huhtamaki are currently looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager - Capabilities to join our Flexible Packaging segment. A key member of the Commercial Excellence Capabilities team, this high-profile role will drive strategies and instill the commercial excellence mindset and culture across the segment.
In this role, you will drive transformative change predominantly through the creation, training and implementation of best practices, commercial tools & capabilities.
This position is responsible for developing and improving processes including, but not limited to, margin management, contract management, pipeline management and value selling around Huhtamaki’s new products portfolio.
The role can be based in any of our locations in Europe, including Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Finland, Turkey, France, Spain, Poland or UK & Ireland.
Primary Responsibilities:

Drive the development and execution of commercial process improvements to improve customer centricity, salesforce effectiveness and productivity, and speed to market for Huhtamaki’s new products

Support and jointly lead workshops and trainings with regional CE and sales teams focused on commercial excellence initiatives

Define commercial best practices and conduct trainings to embed best practices in commercial teams

Ensure implementation of deal making best practices such as commercial terms compliance, conditioned quotes etc.

Support value selling strategies alongside the commercial team

Create value propositions answering markets, segments and customers’ need for new products

As a thought leader and a change agent, build roadmaps for new commercial capabilities and partners with multiple key stakeholders to execute on them in a manner to maximize the value for the company and to instill a commercial excellence culture

Drive profitable growth through value-based pricing, improved commercial terms, and execution based on commercial best practices

Encouraging an environment of continuous improvement and embracing Huhtamaki processes such as Commercial Excellence, as well as exchanging ideas and best practices with other markets and global commercial stakeholders

Establish and support the rhythm of business activities related to analysis and reporting. Gather and analyze data. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance
Education & Preferred Experience:
-
Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or other relevant degree

5+ years of overall business experience with a min 2 years in consulting and/or commercial excellence

Pricing experience is a preferred; experience in flexible packaging is a plus

Must be self-directed, self-motivated and a self-starter

Strong analytical mindset, advanced analytical skills and a proven record of building sophisticated analytics in Excel. Advanced Excel skills required

Experience performing advanced data analysis, articulating and explaining analyses and presenting results to multiple levels within an organization

High business acumen and experience of effective partnership with key stakeholders

Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all levels within a complex organization
-
Up to 25% international or regional travel may be required
