As a Nonprofit Engagement Manager, you are a subject matter expert on Benevity’s nonprofit ecosystem, leveraging our value and software to build strategic relationships with nonprofits and help both nonprofits and clients deepen their impact. You play a key role in executing engagement initiatives, optimizing team processes, and supporting the success of your peers.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with  nonprofit partners in key markets providing guidance on the Benevity Causes Portal, volunteer engagement opportunities, corporate partnerships, profile optimization, and donor experience to help maximize funding potential
  • Collaborate across stakeholders, including nonprofits, clients, and Client Success Managers to support the development and execution of client programs
  • Facilitate connections between nonprofits and volunteers through Benevity’s platforms to enhance engagement and maximize impact for both clients and nonprofit partners
  • Lead strategic projects to carry out nonprofit/client services and  improve the efficiency of the Nonprofit Engagement Team
  • Host educational webinars to equip nonprofits with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate and optimize their presence within the Benevity ecosystem
  • Develop data-driven insights through custom reports on volunteer engagement, user behavior, and nonprofit  demographics to inform client programs and internal stakeholders 
  • Lead internal training sessions to help build the capacity of nonprofit facing teams on relevant projects and/or focus areas
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the nonprofit experience, supporting nonprofits, clients and internal teams such as Product, Nonprofit Marketing, and Nonprofit Support to execute key projects. 
  • Serve as an ambassador for nonprofit-facing teams, fostering positive engagement in all professional interactions
  • Ensure accountability and performance measurement by contributing to data analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making

What you’ll bring:

  • Fluency in English, and proficiency in other languages is an asset
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in nonprofit engagement, client success, or SaaS-related roles, with  demonstrated impact
  • Program management experience with an ability to drive initiatives, optimizing help guide others to success in a collaborative and transparent way
  • Passion for helping nonprofits and clients  make a sustainable impact
  • Deep knowledge of the nonprofit sector, including trends, funding models, and corporate-nonprofit partnership
  • Strategic foresight with strong problem-solving and solution-oriented thinkingProject management experience with an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects 
  • Data-driven mindset and attention to detail - whether dealing with spreadsheets or building relationships
  • Strong relationship builder with demonstrated social and emotional intelligence
  • Reliable team player that enjoys collaborating cross-functionally and builds trust through high accountability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to translate technical information into everyday terms, and the ability to chair meetings or host webinars
  • Advanced skills in Excel
