Position Title: Node.js Developer
Location: Ayala Avenue, Makati City, NCR
Work arrangements: Hybrid – 3 days a week from office
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of proven experience in Node.js development and a strong passion for building high-performance applications and services.
Position Overview:
As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components, optimizing database performance, and ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems. You will play a critical role in creating scalable, secure, and efficient back-end services that support our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server-Side Development:
- Develop and maintain server-side network components using Node.js.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of back-end systems.
- Database Management:
- Optimize central database performance and ensure responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Implement data storage solutions and protection measures.
- Front-End Collaboration:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Contribute to designing and enhancing customer-facing UI components.
- Code Quality and Testing:
- Write testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and repair defects.
- Security Implementation:
- Implement effective security protocols and data protection measures.
- Technical Support and Improvements:
- Provide technical support for existing applications and services.
- Recommend and implement improvements to development processes and technologies.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay informed about advancements in Node.js development and related technologies.
- Apply modern practices to enhance application performance and maintainability.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience with server-side frameworks and libraries such as Express.js.
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of security practices and protocols, including data encryption and access control.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for back-end systems.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
