ABOUT THE ROLE
The Absolut Group New Product Development (NPD) Team is looking for an NPD Project Manager to join us bringing the world of packaging to the next level! This position is a 12-month contract based in Stockholm.
As an Operations project lead for NPD, you will have the exciting chance of driving product development and realization for defined NPD including Innovation, Core brand, Market driven and Value Engineering projects for TAG brands in support of Malibu, Kahlua and Absolut.
The project execution will be done according to the Pernod Ricard Innovation process in close cooperation with TAG Brand team, Global Innovation Team, Market/Business Companies and our production unit/suppliers. You will be the spider in the net, the first point of contact and the bridge between all of them. Together you all contribute to shaping how the future of spirit packaging will look like, globally.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Project Management
- Project Management: Drive product development and realization for defined NPD including planning, overseeing, and leading from initiation to completion.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Connect Operations with various teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Synchronize efforts across departments.
- Feasibility and Risk Management: Conduct studies and risk assessments.
- Performance and Cost Management: Ensure projects meet KPIs; manage costs.
- Sustainability and Documentation: Adhere to guidelines and oversee documentation.
- Training and Reporting: Train colleagues; provide updates and reports.
- Design Updates: Coordinate mandatory label/shipping design updates.
Project Development
- Manage Dry Goods: Coordinate with various dry goods suppliers and production specialists.
- Ensure Efficiency: Strive to ensure project efficiencies and minimize negative effects.
- Innovate Packaging: Explore new materials and technologies.
- Advise on NPD: Recommend packaging and product changes.
- Operational Insight: Provide process and budget insights.
- Develop Samples: Create samples and mock-ups.
Packaging requirements and compliance
- Design Updates: Manage mandatory label and shipper design updates.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure packaging and labeling meet legal requirements.
- GS1 Standards: Ensure compliance with GS1 standards for EAN/UPC barcodes.
- NPD Contact: Act as the contact for registration processes in Product Development.

- 5-7-year work experience within relevant areas (engineering experience, product development and production background beneficial).
- Strong acumen in branding and good knowledge of the spirit industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Background within the FMCG industry with a focus in Operations.
- Key personal success factors: cooperative, flexible, goal- and action oriented, problem solving.
- Fluent in English
- Project Management certification is a plus.
