Network Engineer - Bath, ME

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

•Assist in the management and operation of network services delivery, providing support to the customer and team.

•Contribute to the implementation of network services strategies and act as network-specific technical lead on projects.

•Help maintain the performance and availability of network systems while troubleshooting issues.

•Collaborate with other teams to understand their network requirements and support design and/or implementation.

•Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within the delivery of network services.

•Assist in the development of network documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.

•Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for network tasks and projects.

•Effective communication to provide customer facing support and collaborate with team members.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience supporting networks in an enterprise environment, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar network engineering role

•Experience in technology management with significant focus on network technologies and service delivery

•General IT infrastructure knowledge and experience, including process knowledge (change management, root cause analysis, risk assessment, etc.)

•Enterprise-level network knowledge and experience (LAN/WLAN, MAN/WAN, pLTE, firewall, etc.)

Other Qualifications:

•An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus

•Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, Security+, ITIL, etc. a strong plus

•Familiarity with information security standards and compliance (NIST 800-series, CMMC, etc.) a plus

•A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry

Work Environment:

100% on-site in Bath, ME
