Job Description:
Job Summary
Implements strategies to establish strong contractual agreements and develop superior relationships with key leaders at Dental Support Organizations, other large dental groups and institutions on a national level.
Essential Functions

Develops and maintains strong relationships with current key Special Markets customers.

Develop and implement clear sales strategies for all account contracts to ensure an effective roll-out to the sales organization.

Establish relationships and ongoing communication with the executive management level of key DSO groups.

Prospecting for new customers as well as keeping abreast of competitor activities and marketplace trends.

Successfully negotiate new Special Markets contracts.

Identify and implement “Value-Add” Programs based on needs of account.

Meet with key accounts a minimum of once per quarter at their corporate location or as otherwise directed.

Work in conjunction with local branch manager and equipment specialists when applicable.

Accountable for market share growth in assigned region.

Responsible for the maintenance of gross profit margins.

Identifies new business opportunities within accounts and region.

Monthly Report generated with key sales activities, trends, obstacles, new opportunities, etc.

Performs other National Accounts Sales Manager duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in direct sales management or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Special Markets Account sales experience is highly preferred.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast sales revenues and prepare and maintain budgets.

High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability with strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, negotiating and execution skills.

Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

Willingness to travel more than 50%.

This position is paid on a commission basis.
