The National Client Executive plays a pivotal role in our multifamily organization, focusing on cultivating and expanding our business relationships with national clients. This role is centered around quarterbacking internal sales efforts, and consultative solution sales, encompassing the development of innovative account-level sales strategies, relationship-building initiatives, securing upgrades and new accounts, and optimizing revenue streams.

In this capacity, you will provide invaluable support to property management companies, owners, and asset managers in executing their marketing campaigns, offering strategic consultancy on leveraging Rent solutions and services, and curating property content, both independently and in collaboration with our dynamic sales and sales ops channel.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivate and nurture ongoing business relationships with clients, spanning corporate, regional, and local levels within your assigned national account portfolio.

  • Drive account growth through the identification of opportunities, the presentation of tailored solutions, and close collaboration with field sales teams to convert prospects into valued customers.

  • Prioritize account retention by proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring the continuous satisfaction of our clients.

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales and opportunity pipeline, consistently achieving all sales goals and metrics associated with your role. Regularly report progress to senior sales leadership.

  • Create comprehensive annual, quarterly, and monthly plans for clients in your portfolio and execute them effectively.

  • Maintain regular contact, update account plans, and provide precise sales forecasts.

  • Deliver routine updates and reports on account performance and opportunities.

  • Participate actively in national and regional events, including association conferences and client conferences.

  • Establish effective communication channels with the Rent sales channel dedicated to your account base to drive market share growth.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of account management experience, with at least three (3) years of experience working closely with high-value national clients.

  • Proven expertise in marketing, account management, growth and retention strategies, and executive-level relationship management.

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience using a consultative sales methodology (SPIN, Challenger, etc) 

  • Mastery of go-to-market account strategies designed to enhance revenue and retention.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture customer relationships, resulting in substantial growth within existing and new accounts.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.

  • Previous experience in the multifamily sector is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
