Job Description

Create & Run a Strong Motorsports Marketing Program

Run the complexity and create a sports marketing program that fits %100 to the country, culture and the needs of the market.

Set the vision in motorsports marketing and bring it into life combining the needs of the brand, market, country and consumers while running strategic network and government relations.

Leverage the knowledge of all colleagues in sports marketing department, cooperating with top professional and innovative external partners, freelancers, agencies and federations.

National Motorsports Event Marketing Program Planning / Execution

Start/improve an innovative and outstanding national motorsports programme by inventing and executing new events and athlete projects.

Develop concepts that are tailor-made and highly relevant for regional and national consumer groups, that offer personal experiences to participants and spectators and creates unique media content.

Create and execute high impact events in regional and national scopes.

Maintain strategic relations and grow key contacts/network with authorities to be able to bring into life the events.

Integrate the brand into 25 - 30 very important 3rd party motorsports sports events to reach 2 mio consumers in total every year while leaving no space for competition

World Class Event Execution

Organise Red Bull events/projects of all scales with strong focus on participants, spectators and media. Assure top quality and efficiency. Brief and supervise suitable partners (freelancer/event agency/Field Marketing Manager or Student Brand Manager) to follow Red Bull principles and needs and objectives from communications, legal, finance and sales.

Budget and brand appearance responsibility for all national event activities according to international benchmarks and guidelines.

Assure external partner contribution for defined projects assuring a high level of efficiency.

Build & Improve a Highly Credible Motorsports Athlete Marketing Program

Selecting relevant national motorsports personalities with a perfect brand fit and optimize impact and efficiency via professional target setting and controlling.

Execute and manage multi-year and multi-million deals with world famous athletes & teams.

Establish Red Bull as a credible and functional beverage in the national motorsports landscape (sport scenes, opinion leaders, sport industry, agencies, media, federations, authorities etc.)

Servicing with the best individual package (performance, marketing, communication) both for the brand and the athletes.

Motorsports Communication

Design and contribute unique stories, interesting topics, new formats and top media content for Red Bull Media Network and answer all motorsports sports-related consumer requests.

Support motorsports communication in utilizing Red Bull’s extensive content portfolio by leveraging local and global/international motorsport projects in the media to enhance brand awareness and image.

Help develop and activate content for the Red Bull Media Network by producing high-impact motorsports content and establishing Red Bull’s reputation as a leading media brand within motorsport circles.

Responsible for information transfer (both directions) via the Red Bull SportsNet for all motorsports-related topics (updated athletes and event fact sheets, calendars, contacts etc.)

Strategic Network & Relation Management

Strategic network is always one of the most important priorities of this role. This priority strengthens the Red Bull's image and perception while bringing unique opportunities which any other brand can't have.

Build and execute the strategy against regulatory challenges. Maintain perfect relations with strategic national federations which will be positioned as the advocate of Red Bull against Ministry of Sports.

Position Red Bull brand a flag-bearer in sports as well as the leading brand of country promotion on international arena in front of the government authorities with government relations.

Maintain relations with strategic partners, key contacts and government function. Grow relations and open doors of opportunities for the brand.

Utilize strategically important national and international events to ensure brand visibility and product availability. Use these relations to overcome the regulatory challenges

Qualifications

At least 10 years of previous work experience in sports industry, sport, events or marketing agency, sport institution or federation, or as a journalist, professional athlete or trainer.

Experience in inventing and self organizing projects in sports.

Able to pursue a global company vision: management of strategic, marketing, communication, logistic, finance, legal and sales-oriented challenges.

Ability to design and organize events and projects of all scales (budgets from € 1k – 1,000k). Ability to lead project teams and follow a 360 degree marketing and organizational approach.

Leadership, motivation, innovation and team skills.

Creative, innovative, open-minded, self-conscious, sporty, motivated, friendly, loyal, communicative, responsible.

EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP etc.) technical understanding.
