Summary:

The IBIS Modeling Engineer will develop and support IBIS models for our industry leading IC devices. He/She will provide customer-facing digital models of ADI products and systems to enable faster customer adoption. He/She will work closely with the engineering teams of the business units and the field teams working directly with our customers in order to provide these digital models and systems in a timely manner.

As a key member of the team, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Developing customer-facing IBIS models for ADI products and systems
  • IBIS 4.2/5.0 and IBIS-AMI model development and validation across all technologies
  • Tools, flows and methodologies support for IBIS 4.2, IBIS 5.0 model development and validation
  • Providing support in addressing customers' complex simulation challenges in signal and power integrity

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated years of expertise in IBIS and IBIS-AMI Model development for signal/power integrity and channel simulations
  • Strong background in analog and digital electronics, transmission line theory, etc.
  • Exposure to EDA simulation tools like Spectre, HSPICE, LTSpice, Hyperlynx, Sigrity, ADS, T2B
  • Exposure to automation and scripting like LabView, Python, MATLAB, Simulink, etc
  • Experience in electronics lab equipment usage is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of signal integrity analysis, physics-based modeling, transistor-level simulation, etc.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, exhibits sound judgment, possess good critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to deliver assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Must be a good team player and must have the ability to carry out implementation tasks independently in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure smooth collaboration across functional teams or third parties
  • Technical article writing is an advantage

Education:

  • BSEE/MSEE or equivalent degree in Electronics / Electronics and communication or any related course.
