About the role:

We are seeking a Mobile Product Designer with 3-4 years of work experience in the SaaS arena. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of the end user. You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions. Applications without a folio will not be considered.

Requirement

• Experience as a Mobile App Designer in a SaaS company
• Proficient in design fundamentals and tools alike
• Keen eye for aesthetics, detail and user experience needs beyond the obvious.
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player.
• Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• A broad portfolio of work that demonstrates your design chops across the phases mentioned above
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
• Provide assistance to product engineers when needed
• Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques

Responsibilities

• By partnering with cross-functional teams and customers, you will turn your insights into delightful products in a creative environment that requires proven design skills and the ability to execute a creative vision.
• Design appealing and user-friendly interfaces for iOS and Android apps.
• Contribute to the design process from strategy to execution.
• Present and iterate UI concepts to the development team, incorporating feedback.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Maintain design consistency using design system(s), style guides.
• Update UI based on user testing and market feedback.
• Conduct usability testing and user research.
• Work with product managers and developers to create cohesive app designs.
• Stay current with UI/UX trends and best practices.
