TITLE OF POSITION: Mid-Level Analyst
LOCATION: Washington DC
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: This position is contingent on award notification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides continuous research and assessment of congressional actions, reports, and sensitive issues.
- Identify areas of significant interest and develop courses of action to address them effectively.
- Supports the development and implementation of a proactive congressional engagement strategy across customer priority areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Haves:
- Minimum four (4) years of experience analyzing and writing.
- Five (5) years of experience in defense acquisition on federal congressional actions.
- Strong understanding of the enactment process for defense authorization and appropriation legislation.
- Working knowledge of the Navy’s PPBE process.
- Experience in reviewing and analyzing defense legislation for potential impacts to Navy programs and initiatives.
- Experience in producing written documents for senior officials including briefing materials, legislative summaries, background papers and correspondence.
