Mid Full Stack Java Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with over 3 years of expertise in Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications. They will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide innovative solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience (3+ years) working as a Software Developer with a focus on Java, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and software development best practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and others relevant to application deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and writing efficient SQL queries using PostgreSQL.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical domain industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with DB2 database is a plus.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
