The Manager of IT Projects is responsible for leading a team of project management and support personnel who will complete our portfolio of IT projects, which enable and support the needs of our business partners and aligns to our technology roadmaps. This role ensures those capital and expense projects achieve desired objectives on time and on budget by providing vital oversight for scope development and execution, vendor management and risk management. The ability to manage a variety of sophisticated projects with a high level of customer focus and collaborate with all levels are keys to success.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Ensures effective project management practices are used for scoping, scheduling, budgeting, reporting and execution, and supported by effective project administration methods that are aligned with Williams project management standard methodologies
- Manages a portfolio of project and program management services for company Information Technology function, including the analysis, execution, and delivery of projects
- Builds and maintains effective relationships across IT and with business partners to successfully complete projects through each stage
- Accountable for recruiting, training and developing team members; establishes goals, provides direction and resources through training, leadership, and performance feedback
- Develops, monitors and controls departmental expenditures, capital spend and contractor expenses
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree and a minimum seven (7) years’ project and program management experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance; Experience in IT project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization and budgeting
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Skilled in Project financial management and supporting organizational change
- Fosters and builds a collaborative working relationship with partners across the business, including senior leadership
- Solid understanding of IT risk management, IT standards, and policies formation
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
