Job Summary
The Manager Innovation, Technology & Transformation Communications is responsible for all internal and external communications highlighting the innovation, transformation and superior technology within NiSource. The Manager ensures the effective communication of the NiSource innovation story.
Essential Functions
- Manages all internal and external communications in support of our Innovation, Transformation, & Technology departments.
- Quickly builds rapport, credibility, and trust at all levels of an organization, inclusive of senior leaders.
- Translates complex technical information into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
- Quickly adapts and maintains focus in a rapidly changing environment, producing flexible plans to meet changing business needs.
- Partners with associates across all levels to provide opportunities for two-way communication and feedback.
- Is an employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making.
Required Qualifications For Position
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- 7-9 years Experience in communications with proven results across internal and external channels.
- Well versed and experienced with technology and transformation communications, having a strong technical muscle. High
- "One team" player, transparent and an advocate of sharing data and learnings to create better outcomes. High
- Inspires peripheral relationships across NiSource, has the enthusiasm and passion to engage own team and wider organization on Transformation roadmap. High
- Proven situational leadership skills and the ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels of the organization. High
- Comfortable with ambiguity. High
- Expertise in identifying, developing, and telling impactful stories across multiple channels. High
- Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently, produce quality work under tight deadlines, and move projects forward with minimal direction. High
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and accurately. High
- Understanding of regulations and principles specific to communications for a publicly traded company. High

Salary Range:
$107,000.00 - $160,500.00
